Fiveways Head of Later Life Advice, Ian Evans has recently been through his 10 year assessment as a member of the Society of Later Life Advisers, which is known as the “Gold Standard” of Later life advice.

To be accredited as a SOLLA adviser members need to go through a rigorous assessment and interview initially, followed by an annual paper based assessment and then every 5 years a full interview again This is so they can demonstrate their knowledge in this tricky area and be able to provide the highest level of advice to those clients who are in need of help around paying for Long Term Care and or have Vulnerability Issues.

For Ian to have been a member for 10 years is some achievement and all of us at Fiveways Financial Planning congratulate him for doing so.

Ian is not only an accredited member of SOLLA, he is also the Coordinator for the South-West, organising professional training events, webinars and seminars for advisers and solicitors Ian is also a member of the SOLLA advisory Board, which guides the SOLLA members and provides further training and help.
