James started his career in Financial Services in 2010 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Accounting and Finance.
He has previously worked for Towry and Close Brothers in the Wealth Management sector, gaining the Diploma in Financial Planning at the latter. Following this he joined a St. James’s Place Partner Practice as a paraplanner and spent 6 years there progressing his technical skills before joining Fiveways Financial Planning in March 2025. He is currently working towards Chartered status.
Outside of work James enjoys playing football, squash and running, and has a season ticket for Bristol rugby.
