Ian left the civil service in 1989 to pursue a career in financial services and has never looked back. He joined Legal & General as an adviser for a year, before moving to Lloyds TSB, where over 13 years he rose to the level of Financial Planning Manager, working mostly in the Weston super Mare area.
Ian has been a financial adviser for over 30 years, the last 17 as an Independent Financial Adviser. He holds the Diploma in Financial Services.
Ian is the Society of Later Life Advice (SOLLA) Coordinator for the South West and a member of the SOLLA Advisory Board. Ian has always lived in Somerset, is married with two children and is a keen supporter of Bath and England rugby.
