Jim started in the financial services industry in 1985 with Nationwide Building Society, becoming a Branch Manager in 1987.
In 1990 he moved to Standard Life as a pension and investments specialist dealing with independent financial advisers in Somerset and later elsewhere in the South West. He left Standard Life in 2008 to become an independent financial adviser to get back to dealing with real clients again on a personal basis.
Jim’s interests revolve around sport. He plays cricket and coaches youngsters starting out in the game, and also serves on the main committee of his local cricket and rugby club, helping to manage the clubs and facilities.
